Description
- Teach kids how to code using micro:bit (block coding)
- Lead simple projects (games, lights, sensors, mini-robots, etc.)
- Keep kids engaged and excited about tech
- Help set up and organize devices and materials
- Create a positive, safe learning environment
What we’re looking for:
- Comfortable with micro:bit or similar tools (Scratch, MakeCode, etc.)
- Enjoy working with kids (ages 6–12)
- Patient, reliable, and creative
- Some teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is a big plus (not required)
Nice to have (not required):
- Experience in coding, STEM, robotics, or computer science
- Experience in afterschool programs or working with kids
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
