Key Responsibilities:
- Safely pick up and transport children from designated schools to the program site.
- Assist the driver with ensuring the safety and well-being of children during transportation.
- Support teachers with classroom activities, including homework help, arts and crafts, and recreational activities
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for students.
- Assist with meal/snack distribution and supervision during meal times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in education or child development preferred.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a school or afterschool setting.
- Valid New York State driver’s license (preferred).
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain a positive attitude.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
